Spring Mac – Homeroom

Aged asiago covered with fresh herbs, peas and lemon zest ($8.25) mac & cheese, baked with crispy breadcrumbs for extra 50 cents. I especially loved the baked breadcrumbs touch! I am also a huge fan of the large (rather than small) size of the macaroni too. It’s cute and delicious. The peas and lemon – mmm.

I’m not so impressed with the place itself (they could really use new tables and chairs for seating) but they give you a nice portion (I had a little less than half to bring home as leftovers) and the staff is really friendly (different staff members asked us at various times during our meal if we needed anything or if the meal was satisfying). The menu is also written in a very kid-like font, making it a very casual place. Seems to be located in the middle of nowhere though.
