Marilyn Monroe – Sozo Sushi
Shrimp tempura, crab, and avocado on the inside; scallop, tobiko with a creamy sauce on the outside, $9.99. The scallop was absolutely AMAZING. Wow. I have never tried scallop at a sushi place, only at Chinese restaurants, but they taste nothing like what I ate here. I don’t know how to describe how wonderful it was, but the texture itself was probably the most impressive part about it. They were small and squishy, but not in the same manner as mushroom. The scallop was by far my favorite part of the entire sushi.
The place was pretty crowded but no line at the hour I went, quite popular in the area. Tables are a bit close to each other, and it can be pretty hard to flag down a waitress. There were interesting sushi names, like the one I ordered, Sexy Roll, Rolls Royce, etc.
