Shrimp Scampi in Lobster Sauce – Elephant Bar

Shrimp sautéed in garlic butter, garlic, red onions and diced tomatoes, all tossed in creamy lobster sauce, finished with grated Parmesan cheese. Served with baked garlic bread, $13.95 (1330 Calories). The most noteworthy part of this dish is that you are given a very generous helping of shrimp! Fancy-shaped plate, makes the portion look a lot more than it actually is, but it is still a decent portion. Lobster sauce is a tad spicy and too liquidy, makes it all too easy to splash all over the place as you slurp up the noodles. Garlic bread is alright. Overall, pretty good for Elephant Bar. It was pretty difficult for me to make a selection from the menu, some items didn’t sound appealing, others didn’t look appealing. They try to incorporate all kinds of categories of food (i.e. Italian, Chinese) compared to when I last went to an Elephant Bar years ago, but I highly doubt their authenticity.
