Absolutely divine. This place serves classy, delicious food that is unforgettable! From the Pan-seared Scallop, Alease William’s Crispy Pig Ears, Roasted Cauliflower, Squid Ink, Four Leaf Farm’s Baby Fennel Vinaigrette ($13 appetizer) to the Pan-seared Carolina Spottail Bass, Blue Crab, Smoked White Lima Beans, Root Down Farm’s Roasted Cauliflower, Apricot Beurre Blanc ($25 entree) to the Frozen Chocolate Mousse, Peanut Butter Ice Cream, Virginia Peanut Brittle, Chocolate Peanut Crunch ($8 dessert).Truly, the dishes look and taste fantastic. Matched my meal with a glass of Pinot Blanc (Napa Valley, California, 2009 white wine), which has a hint of sweetness. Can’t quite taste the squid ink, or maybe I’m not supposed to, because it is combined with a savory sauce. The crispy pig ears are indeed crispy and thinly sliced. The bass is cooked beautifully. And the chocolate mousse is a sweet ending to the wonderful meal (extra gold star in my book for not making the peanut brittle too crunchy for my teeth!).
