- 1 Package Oreos (36 Cookies), Finely Crushed, Divided
- 1 Package (8oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1.5 Packages (16oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate, Melted
RESERVE 1/4 cup cookie crumbs. Mix cream cheese and remaining cookie crumbs until blended.
SHAPE into 1-inch balls. Dip in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs before chocolate begins to harden/solidify.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.
Absolutely LOVE this recipe!!! Looks and tastes delicious, great treat for party guests, and relatively simple to make (crushing the oreos is the most difficult and messy step in this recipe). Makes approx. 38 truffles.
