The name of this place is deceiving — it’s not your typical coffee cafe. Instead, they serve Hong Kong-style food. The portions are small, but it’s a nice little place to catch up with friends or to have a quick lunch. They have very colorful signs all over the walls plus a couple TVs playing Chinese shows. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside, but the tables are more fitting for small groups.

Here’s what I had:

  • Fried Chicken Wings (5 pieces for $5.95)
  • Mushroom Chicken Rice Bucket ($8.95)
  • Baked Fish with White Sauce ($8.95)
  • Fish Ball Noodle Soup ($7.95)
  • Pineapple and Chicken Fried Rice ($12.95)

Not much taste in any of these dishes (except the fried chicken wings are a bit salty). The white sauce for the baked fish dish is creamy but its flavor doesn’t seem to absorb into the rice. The spoon is also too big for the small dish. The fish ball noodle soup was recommended by the waitress, but it wasn’t all that special. Overall, it’s not the best, but it’s not the worst. The little bowls are small and cute (not great for those of you who tend to stuff a lot of food into your bowl, like me). They should get smaller spoons though, because the spoons available are far too large to be effective.

Located in the Ulferts plaza, there’s plenty of parking. Wait was not too long.
