Pho Ga – Pho Far East
Chicken Noodle Soup, $8.25 – Vietnamese rice noodle soup served with bean sprouts, basil leaves, lime, and jalapeños. There aren’t a lot of authentic pho places in the Research Triangle, but this place is pretty decent. The broth is flavorful, the portion is reasonable (though there’s only one size available for each pho option), and the service is great. In general, pho is pricier than what I’m familiar with back in the West Coast. Still, they’ve got all the essentials at hand – Sriracha, hoisin sauce, bean sprouts, basil, lime, jalapeños. Very attentive and easygoing staff. It’s a good sign when the staff of an Asian restaurant consists of Asians! Parking lot right outside. If you’re in the area and craving pho, check this place out!
