BBQ Nation Indian Grill

So much color and so much flavor to the food here! I am always a little cautious with Indian food because it is often very spicy for me, but I was very pleased with the food at this place. I sampled the following at a Yelp event, buffet style:

-Gobi Machurian – deep fried cauliflower cooked in Indo Chinese sauce
-Paneer Bhurji gravy – grated paneer cooked in tomato gravy and cream
-Veg Pulav – medley of rice, spices, and vegetables
-Chicken 555 – fried chicken cooked in special sauce with cashew nuts
-Butter Chicken – chicken cooked with spices, herbs, and butter sauce
-Butter Naan – over-baked flat bread with some butter
-Carrot Halwa – carrot-based sweet pudding dessert

I was so impressed with the food! It was all so creamy and vibrant and delicious! I thought the paneer bhurji gravy and chicken were spicy, but thankfully only mildly spicy. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the carrot dessert because quite honestly, I did not think that it sounded or looked very appetizing, especially as a dessert, but I’m glad I tried it because I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came around to the tables to talk about the restaurant and said they change the buffet items daily. That’s impressive! They also have a square panel in the center of the table that can be removed and turned into a grill for kabobs.
